I photographed Brooklyn based DJ J. Period for the recent issue of Scratch Magazine. J has put out a great variety of mixtapes for The Roots, Nas, The Isley Brothers, Lauren Hill, and he's currently waiting to release a project he did with Mary J. Blige. Not biased or anything, but his best of The Roots mixtape is by far the best.
