I received a nice e-mail from a photographer in Chicago. He gave me some positive feedback about a photograph on Okayplayer.com. I had no idea what he was talking about, but was pleasantly surprised to see one of my portraits of ?uestlove & Black Thought with a link to my website. It's no secret I'm a huge fan of their music and I'm looking forward to photographing Sunday's show at World Cafe LiveBelow is Maori Holmes (left), filmmaker/festival director, and Mercedes Martinez of The Jazzyfatnastees, who put in the time and effort to make the Black Lily Film & Music Festival happen.
